    1. Complete the introduction
    2. Complete all exercises and mini assignments (Random Walker, Noise Agents, Noise Portrait)

Exercise: Random Walker

  • Follow the Random Walker exercise
  • Create your own random walker implementation that pushes the standard example and adds color, etc
  • Upload your result as a 800x800px png

Exercise: Noise Portrait

  • Follow the Noise Exercises
  • Create your own noise portrait based on a photo of yourself
  • Tweak and modify the presented code until you are happy with your result
  • Upload your result as a 800x800px image

Think further about your self-portrait and come up with your own approach that goes beyond the noise example.

  • Use photographic material of yourself as the base
  • You may use the techniques from class as a base but are free to come up with a totally different approach
  • You might think about adding interaction (eg using your mouse or a tablet) to create a procedural brush
  • Think about how procedural methods integrate into portraiture and how their aesthetics might support your personality
  • Upload your result (JPG & Project Files) and post it on ms teams (JPG)
